Visiting my grandaunts and hearing them say how clever I am just because I used to bring back lotsa A's from exams. (Not anymore though cuz I only managed a 66 last sem)

What I miss the most is my grandma.

Discussing how scary it is to be meeting the boyfriend's parents. (In my case, it's worse. Only son. Mahai damn chat scary ok.)
Discussing why they like dota so much.
Almost everything under the sun.

So I told this friend of mine what I think girls should look for in a guy.

He gives you space
One of the important things. I do not believe that a girl should be tied to a guy in a relationship, vice versa. A guy who doesn't control a girl in a relationship shows that he respects her space. And it also shows that he trusts you enough.

He is affectionate
Ever notice how men tend to clam up and act all macho in public? If he doesn't think twice about giving you a hug or calling you "honey" or "dear" or any sweet names in front of his friends, he's definitely a keeper.

He compliments you
It's a good thing if he notices you new earrings, your new necklace or even your new body shampoo and then compliments how good they look/smell on you. More cookie points.

He listens
Okay, you know how bitchy girls tend to get? I'm not exception. What's important is that he is willing to listen and actually shows he is interested and give an opinion eventhough bitching sessions can be really boring to guys. Communication, darling, communication.

He trusts you
Trust me this is damn important. When a guy trusts you to do your own things, he's seriously for keeps. When I say trust you to do your own things, it's not about getting chores done. It's like when you go out with your friends, he trusts you that you will know what to do. Have fun, but remember you are attached, that kind of thing.

I'm kinda running out of ideas. Add in more for yourself.
I think different girls have different needs.

Like how some girls like their man to cling to them but I prefer having space and time to breathe.

For me, I do believe the approval of your parents on your significant other is very, very important.

I sort of think I don't have a life when classes start.
I get lazy to go out even on the weekends.
And sometimes you just feel so bored of going to the malls.

One more thing, I'm so proud of myself can.
For Process Engineering Project which is another part of Process Engineering Fundamentals, I did my flowchart 70% right!



Yes I know it's not 100% but you know, PEF is my killer subject in first sem and PEP is not gonna be any much easier than PEF. It is supposed to be a gazillion times worse than PEF.

So yeah. You get the drift.

Cramps


I don't know why, but the cramps are getting a little too much to handle lately.
Had a backache, had the baby massage me for a bit.

I swear I'm getting old.

Almost died of gastric pain on Friday.
It was alright at night though.
But that was also when the backache starts.

Woke up on Saturday morning with a nasty gastric pain.
Left me walking around like a hunchback of Notredame.
(Okay fine, I'm exaggerating that part)
But I couldn't really walk with my back straight.

TheBoyfriend finished up my Baskin Robbins and only gave me 3 spoons (I think) cuz he said "You cannot eat so much. You are not feeling well."

And I watched him finished the last 1/3 of it.

I told him I'm gonna get myself another pint when I'm well again.
I don't care if it's not the 31st.
Yeah, call me a cheapskate cuz I prefer buying BR on the 31st.


Went out with an old friend later that night, Jacinth.
No pictures, sorry. Was too busy catching up and layan-ing some weird encounters.

We were supposed to go to Fondue House cuz I promised her to bring her there.
But heck it was closed last night!!



So, no choice, we left for Souled Out.
We ate and sat there for hours, I think. At least 3 hours.

TheManagerAlvin was nice enough cuz he gave both of us free drinks.

Waitress walked to our table and placed two glasses of drinks.
Jacinth and I were like,
"We didn't order any drinks."
"Oh it's actually from our manager Alvin."
"Oh okay. Thank you."
"He said it's complimentary drinks for both of you."

Left both of us pretty much surprised. Eehee.

A man walked to our table, with his moustache and beard and all on the face.
Pointing to the two empty chairs at our table, "Not taken?"
I assumed he wanted extra chairs but I was wondering why ours cuz there are other available chairs at the next table, which is empty.

So we just shook our head.
To our surprise, he sat down!



Damn shocked I tell you.

"Hi I'm XXX"
Shook hands but we never told him our names.
"So you girls come here often?"
"Er no."
"Aren't you a bit too matured?"
"Oh really?"
Then he laughed like an idiot. Hur hur hur.
Awkward silence for a while.
"So you girls still studying?"
"Yeah."
"My friends and I come here often."
"Ohkay."
"We are just over there. Cuz we saw just the both of you alone here. Was wondering if you wanna join us?"
"Oh no. We're fine over here."
"But why just the both of you?"
"Just some girl talk. We're fine."

I think both of us were feeling soooo uneasy with him sitting there, shamelessly.

"Er sorry but you are kind of disturbing us."
"Oh alright. Anyway it's nice meeting you girls."

And he finally left. Phew.
One of the weirdest moments.
I mean, if he's young and all, I'd understand.
But he has to be at least 35!
Mind you, his friends are also balding.

I'm sorry for being missing in action for a week!
Well, not entirely my fault.
Mum conveniently forgot to pay the internet bills and my line is suspended!

Gosh. I almost died from not having internet connection.
But it was real productive, as in, studies wise.
I finished up my coursework pretty fast and efficiently.
Normally I'd just drag and drag and drag it till I think there's no time. Heh!



But anyway, there's nothing much to update about.
Unless you want me to bore you with the details of my courseworks.

I sort of think I don't have a life when classes start.
I get lazy to go out even on the weekends.
And sometimes you just feel so bored of going to the malls.
It's always the same old thing.

And oh! Public announcement!

Now everyone knows you are 21.
It will be another 5 months before I join you. Heh!

One more thing, I'm so proud of myself can.
For Process Engineering Project which is another part of Process Engineering Fundamentals, I did my flowchart 70% right!



Yes I know it's not 100% but you know, PEF is my killer subject in first sem and PEP is not gonna be any much easier than PEF. It is supposed to be a gazillion times worse than PEF.

So yeah. You get the drift.

Anyhoo. Will update again soon. This is just to let you people know that I'm still pretty much alive and kicking!

Cramps


I don't know why, but the cramps are getting a little too much to handle lately.
Had a backache, had the baby massage me for a bit.

I swear I'm getting old.

Almost died of gastric pain on Friday.
It was alright at night though.
But that was also when the backache starts.

Woke up on Saturday morning with a nasty gastric pain.
Left me walking around like a hunchback of Notredame.
(Okay fine, I'm exaggerating that part)
But I couldn't really walk with my back straight.

TheBoyfriend finished up my Baskin Robbins and only gave me 3 spoons (I think) cuz he said "You cannot eat so much. You are not feeling well."

And I watched him finished the last 1/3 of it.

I told him I'm gonna get myself another pint when I'm well again.
I don't care if it's not the 31st.
Yeah, call me a cheapskate cuz I prefer buying BR on the 31st.


Went out with an old friend later that night, Jacinth.
No pictures, sorry. Was too busy catching up and layan-ing some weird encounters.

We were supposed to go to Fondue House cuz I promised her to bring her there.
But heck it was closed last night!!



So, no choice, we left for Souled Out.
We ate and sat there for hours, I think. At least 3 hours.

TheManagerAlvin was nice enough cuz he gave both of us free drinks.
Complimentary from him.


Anyway, some funny encounters: Jacinth, Me

Waitress walked to our table and placed two glasses of drinks.
Jacinth and I were like,
"We didn't order any drinks."
"Oh it's actually from our manager Alvin."
"Oh okay. Thank you."
"He said it's complimentary drinks for both of you."

Left both of us pretty much surprised. Eehee.

A man walked to our table, with his moustache and beard and all on the face.
Pointing to the two empty chairs at our table, "Not taken?"
I assumed he wanted extra chairs but I was wondering why ours cuz there are other available chairs at the next table, which is empty.

So we just shook our head.
To our surprise, he sat down!



Damn shocked I tell you.

"Hi I'm XXX"
Shook hands but we never told him our names.
"So you girls come here often?"
"Er no."
"Aren't you a bit too matured?"
"Oh really?"
Then he laughed like an idiot. Hur hur hur.
Awkward silence for a while.
"So you girls still studying?"
"Yeah."
"My friends and I come here often."
"Ohkay."
"We are just over there. Cuz we saw just the both of you alone here. Was wondering if you wanna join us?"
"Oh no. We're fine over here."
"But why just the both of you?"
"Just some girl talk. We're fine."

I think both of us were feeling soooo uneasy with him sitting there, shamelessly.

"Er sorry but you are kind of disturbing us."
"Oh alright. Anyway it's nice meeting you girls."

And he finally left. Phew.
One of the weirdest moments.
I mean, if he's young and all, I'd understand.
But he has to be at least 35!
Mind you, his friends are also balding.

A waiter walked to our table in shock cuz we had two 'new' drinks on the table.
"Did you order these drinks?"
"Er no."
"It was from Alvin."
"It's not your drink?"
"No no. It's from your manager, Alvin. He said it's complimentary from him."

He left in a hurry, I assume he wanted to confirm about that cuz we've asked for the bill already.
I swear that waiter's face was very, very, very shocked and Jacinth kinda thought he wanted the drinks back. Haha.
But he left us alone after that.

The manager, Alvin came to talk to us, yadda yadda.
We said our thank you's for his treat.

"So do you girls want anymore drinks? You are actually drawing quite a lot of attention to this table. "
" Oh thank you. It's okay. We're kinda bloated from the drinks."
" Cuz there are people who want to buy you girls some drinks, so I'm wondering what do you want to have."
"Oh no it's really okay. We're kinda full."
"But the night is still young!"
"No no no, it's really ok. Thank you soooo much."


Man, ego booster, I like!
But the catching up part was damn good.
Laughters along the way.

Another day, Jacinth, we'll go for Fondue, and if it's not open, we'll burn that shop.



Anyway, first week of second semester is good!
Minus the coursework from PEP.
