Eventhough TheBoyfriend is busy at work and told me he couldn't chat with me, 5 minutes later I saw that mail in my inbox. (((((: And I was really smiling!


This proves that sometimes you guys don't really have to go to the ends of the world to please your girl. Small thoughtful gestures may just do the trick. But of course you guys can't just rely on small gestures okay cuz it'll get boring and meaningless. Hehe.

No pictures for this cuz I didn't bring my camera. I'll have to ask from TheBoyfriend's friends for the pictures. (Sorry people I ain't gonna blog about SIFE Fashion Show just yet)


Have to blog about this before I forget what happened last night. Lol.


The rest of my family left for Sg Siput for this Ching Ming thing and I stayed behind cuz I wanted to do my work but then until this very minute I have yet to touch even 25% of my work. TheBoyfriend offered to stay over and keep me company cuz my mum was saying it's dangerous for me to stay alone.


Last night we went for dinner at some restaurant in Alam Damai which took us quite some time to get there. We got lost -_- No sense of direction I tell you haha.


Then after dinner we proceeded to TheBoyfriend's friend's (Pui Leng) place for a farewell party for her boyfriend (Yi Kang) who is also Ee Ling's (Clarins colleague) cousin! Haha. Small world.


Alcohol was abundant I had my fair share but not much cuz TheBoyfriend's drinking like a horse so being the sensible girlfriend *Ehem ehem* I have to control my drinking so that if anything happens I can drive us back.


We were karaoke-ing and drinking a lot and then things got out of control. Viratha (This guy who was from SAB as well. Aiya everyone was from SAB) got pretty drunk but he kept saying he's sober and he went around hugging everyone and kept saying how they must get Yi Kang drunk. Then the next thing I know he stripped off his own top! Omg culture shock!


Then he went around taking off other people's clothes! -_- Then I told TheBoyfriend, safest is to stay with me I think he won't disturb him if he's with me. TheBoyfriend was the last one who still had his top on and that bugger really came and wanted to take TheBoyfriend's shirt off. Then TheBoyfriend went, "I'll do it myself. I'll do it myself." Then Viratha took TheBoyfriend's shirt and threw it in the toilet.

Then the guys (Except TheBoyfriend cuz he's busy making out with me wtf I'm just kidding) were dirty dancing with each other! Then they tried to take off each other's pants. Omg seriously things were getting a little out of hand I'm super traumatised. I've had friends who got high but I don't remember them being that crazy.

They celebrated Ee Pei's birthday yesterday as well. Happy birthday girl! Hope you have a blessed and blasted birthday (:


Then they had to play with the cake as well. And Viratha kept telling me he's not drunk and he kept giving examples to prove he's not drunk, to which I replied, "Con-the-firm you're drunk."


And then later, my name became Imelda. -_- Where the heck did that come from????? Cuz TheBoyfriend and I went outside and took a breather and sat on the swing and played with Pui Leng's dogs. I really like the dog Kopi eventhough he's depressed and all but she's a really good dog and she licked my face haha. Then Viratha came while both of us were on the swing and suddenly called me Imelda. -_______________________________-


Last night was crazy. Seriously. I think it's all because of alcohol cuz it wasn't like that in the beginning when there was no alcohol. See what alcohol can do to people? Tsk tsk.


Was super exhausted but then I got up pretty early this morning considering the fact that we slept at about 3 am. I couldn't sleep longer I don't know why.


My daddy just called and he's still in Tanjung Malim cuz he said there's heavy traffic and they're traveling at 40-50 kmph. He said it's raining pretty heavily there and there are roadworks going on.


Tsk. Still home alone. TheBoyfriend la, left in the afternoon. Tsk.

On the 18th of March 2008, my university held the finals for Talent Quest 2008 of my university. It was one long day cuz I had class in the morning then I had to proceed for my dance practice for the opening performance of this year's annual dinner. Then almost immediately after the dance practice I had to go for the fashion show practice which I swear was a waste of time. Then I had to go to the Great Hall for the finals to support my friends.


I sort of forgot that I had my camera with me until it was 'Flip A Coin & Call It Heads' turn to perform. Weng Hoe was like the keyboardist/guitarist/whatever-that-remains-ist for that band. Fellow Mr Notts semifinalist Kwo Kuang was the vocalist and guitarist as well.

They got pretty good comments from the judges. The judges were sorta saying other bands should be very afraid of this band. Anyway I really like their self-composed music. So Hawaii-ish.



And people say Mr. Weng Hoe looks like TheBoyfriend.


Maybe just a little. But not as tall/buff/good-looking/handsome/sexy/all-the-good-qualities as TheBoyfriend. Then Wai Ken was like arguing who is better looking and all and stuff like that. Omg Wai Ken why are you so gay?????


Then the next band was '5 am'!

I was really shouting and screaming alright? Like, a super fanatical groupie lol. Why they call themselves 5 am? Cuz they've been practising at 5 am. O_o


Damn crazy alright. I wouldn't wake up just to play with my classical guitar. I'd rather sleep more. Ever heard of beauty sleep? Haha but it doesn't work cuz I still look like (Insert whatever bad qualities here).


We have Eric as the vocalist/guitarist, Milor (Yes that's his name) as the drummer, Brian (Or BRAIN) as the bassist and Simon as the guitarist.

Pardon my pale face, was so fungry (Short for fucking hungry) and all I had was a protein bar. But the protein bar saved me from a super bad gastric though. Haha.


Nowadays my vain-ness has reduced cuz I no longer put makeup to uni. I just slap on some sunblock and then just do my eyebrows a bit cuz I have some bald patches due to over-plucking sigh I get tweezer-happy sometimes.


TheBoyfriend said it's because now that I have him that's why I don't feel like beautifying myself anymore. -_-

I tell you facial care can be such a pain in the ass sometimes. I used to buy the expensive facial products and it's so hard to find a suitable one that works well for my pimple-prone skin and oily and dry skin. What a dilemma -_-


Then I got this Loreal White Perfect Day Moisturizer sample and I used it for a week and my skin condition improved! Then I got the Night Cream and then wait for another week and my complexion improved! So I got the facial wash as well. And these are all super cheap. I think you can buy this set less than or around RM100.


I used to pay around RM100 for one single product like moisturizer ok. I used to think like, this is so cheap it probably wouldn't really work. But now I guess I'm more like, as long as it works I don't care if it's cheap.


And I got a lot fairer and my skin glows from this Loreal product! (By the way I'm not paid for this advertorial) I just wanna share good stuff (:

Now tell me, does he really look like TheBoyfriend? Apparently after his haircut (To the current style) a lot of people were like telling him, "Eh you look like Eelaine's boyfriend!"


Then he came and told me that. Like he just casually asked me, "Eh who do you think I look like after cutting my hair?" I was expecting him to say like some superstar's name or something so I said no cuz I really couldn't see any resemblance. Then he went, "Your boyfriend."


To which I went, "HUH?????????? No!!!!! My boyfriend's so much better!!!"


And Weng Hoe emo-ed. Rofl. But what the heck Wai Ken was like, "Eh that guitarist look very familiar.. Eh!!! Like Eelaine's boyfriend!!!"

The results were announced around 15 mins after voting. The whole show was very, very nice but the results were very stupid and bullshit-ting.


For the bands category, this band from Pharmacy and Engineering won. They were pretty decent but I was seriously thinking either 'Flip A Coin & Call It Heads' or '5 am' will win cuz they were quite good.


For the solo category, the worst singer won! What. The. Fuck?


Before that let me tell you how the voting system works. Everyone is given one vote but you can buy extra votes for 50 cents each.


The winner for the solo category, apparently won by a ratio of 6:2:1 (winner:1st runner up:2nd runner up)


The funny thing is, his box (For the votes) is not even full! The 1st runner up's box, according to Wai Ken was full to the opening! So tell me how can this guy win? And I heard he apparently bought 450 votes for himself. I don't know how true it is but shit it sucks.


When they announced the result for the solo category, everyone went "WHATTTTTTT????" and then all of them got up and left the hall immediately. It was so funny cuz the winner was like, 'shocked' that he won and no one layan-ed him and just booed him and left.


We proceeded to have supper with Hafriz, Lizzie, Wai Ken, Mei Syen, Jieqiang and Bernard who came later. I almost died by then and I told the guy at the mamak to be quick cuz I'm super hungry lol.

I was supposed to help out with the table tennis competition yesterday. Refereeing and all. But then Quek saw me and forced me to play volleyball for ChemEng. He made me drove back and change into my sports attire and then play.


The last time I've ever played volleyball was in secondary school. My skills were rusty judging by the way I played yesterday.


It was a good game nevertheless. My digging is still quite good. Not digging my nose ok. Digging the ball. Digging the ball is the part where you put your two arms together to hit the ball.


I was assigned setter position. Setter is where you use 3 or 4 fingers to 'push' the ball upwards for the spiker. I guess I don't need to explain what a spiker is cuz everyone knows what a spiker is. I admit I can't set as good anymore but it was more of a fluctuating performance. Sometimes I get it sometimes I don't.


Serving was a bitch cuz out of 5, I missed maybe 2-3 which isn't good at all. Wanted to do the 'tennis serve' but my 'tennis serving' performance fluctuates more than my mood. Lol. But really, I think we played very well considering the fact that we're playing against MechEng who had one national player, one district player, a couple of school players I think.


The national player wanted to spike at one point. Then he saw me standing there cuz I wanted to block. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I'm the only girl in ChemEng team. And MechEng are all guys. So I wanted to block, then this guy saw me and totally fumbled and couldn't spike. Lol. I guess he was shocked to suddenly see a tiny girl standing there lol.


But anyway that trick didn't work anymore after that cuz they just aimed somewhere else where I'm not standing. Ugh wtf.


And I had the most irritating player in my team. -_- He's okay but he's just everywhere in the court! He gets into your space and leaves his space empty wtf does he know how to play, like, a real game? You don't just run everywhere and bump into other people! Everytime I want to set the ball for the spiker he will surely get in front of me and I can't do what I'm supposed to do. Even the team captain got frustrated after a while cuz they we couldn't play tactic and he said I don't have to play permanent setter.


Daniel bruised his hands and it swelled pretty badly. Mine's bruised as well but my hands don't feel painful at all haha Daniel take that! We have certain tactics to dig. Not just randomly hit the ball hoho. But good game Daniel (:


Sigh I have so much work this week. Yes. AGAIN. Sigh I think third year's gonna be a bitch.

Omg I swear drying lab report is like so boring! I have a total of 10 graphs in my lab report I think. You see! I've even lost count. -_-


Then after this I have to do my Engineering Management & Accounting coursework which is so bloody boring. I also think that some people should really take this module, especially the management part hoho.


This week is again a hectic week. Two courseworks due and then I have to attend dance practice and then I might have Particle Mechanics replacement for 4 hours this Friday. Ah.. There goes my free Friday. But I hope it's not this week though cuz I didn't bring enough clothes. I mean, clothes to wear to uni. Haha.


My black peep-toes slingback just gave me a blister on my right foot ouch! And it seems bigger than the initial one that I've got. T_T

I love those curls that the people from APT gave me. But then again I think I'm too chicken to curl my hair cuz you see, I have very petite body and a big head. So if I have curls, I'll look like a human size lollipop, which isn't pretty if you ask me.


And curls add years to a person. A lot of comments I got was that I look more mature and stuff. Dilemma dilemma cuz I'm so tired of having long hair but it took me so long for my hair to grow to its current length I'm not gonna chop my hair. Sighs.


Anyway I'm not gonna blog about SIFE Fresh Labels Fashion Show just yet. Wait till I have the mood to really sit down and spill the details. The juicy details may I add. Or maybe drama, bitchy bitchy drama. I know everyone likes gossips and dramas haha.


Everyone's nosing into everyone else's dramas and gossips and whatnots. But ah well, we're all the same right? You're lying if you say you aren't haha!


I shouldn't waste anymore time. I should really start doing my Management coursework. Pffft.

After deciding that I'm gonna sing 'Umbrella' accompanied by the guitar, I found out that Jeannie's doing that same song too. Then no choice, had to come up with another performance. Then I decided to dance oh my God I swear it was horrible. Managed to dance maybe like 4-5 times and then I just went ahead and performed it.

I had a long day that day. Class from 9 am to 4 pm and I felt like I'm gonna just die from exhaustion.

I had to be in the great hall at 5.30 for rehearsal and whatnot. It was really, really tiring and it sucks cuz the whole rehearsal was pretty much pointless and it was sooooo draggy. I had a really bad gastric in the end cuz I didn't eat on time. Isk.

Told you I was tired. Hmph.


Then I went for dinner with Jeannie, Isaac, Weng Hoe and some more people whom I don't know. By that time my gastric was already killing me and I felt super awful. It was like there's this knife in my stomach or something.


I wanted to leave early cuz I wasn't ready at all - I have yet to change, put on make up, do my hair and all the vain stuff you can think of. But they were telling me I didn't have to go so early this la that la.


So in the end, I didn't have time to do my make up at all and I looked awfully pale and ugly in the pictures. I just slapped on some powder and then was INSTRUCTEDDEMANDED to go out of the changing room. So fine.. Just skip everything.


And I tell you it was so 'suey' cuz I'm like the last contestant. I had to see each and everyone of them do their thing and then I'll be like, "Shit I'm so screwed." or maybe "Shit can I pull out like now????"



That's me being questioned.


Everyone was saying how 'pageant-ish' this contest is cuz they ask those pageant-questions if you get what I mean. World peace la this la that la you get the gist.


My question was, "Who is the most influential person in the world?"


And before my turn I went around joking that if I ever get a question like that I'll say Abdullah Badawi cuz he's the reason BN lost 2/3 majority haha I'm so funny -_- (TheBoyfriend said I should also say he's the reason BN won by landslide victory.)


But anyway when it was my turn, you have no idea how shocked I was to see that question. Maybe God is helping me -_- Anyway I answered my parents and almost teared up oh shit why am I such a crybaby.

Went out with TheBestFriendShinYie yesterday. We had a role reversal yesterday. Normally she drives us out but this time I drove cuz we wanted to celebrate her birthday. So we had lunch and then walked around and the I went to Guess and pretended like I'm looking for this bag.


Finally saw the bag but sadly they didn't have the colour that I wanted. Then I asked her is the bag pretty and all she said yes. Then I asked would she use this kind of colour she said yes. Then after pretending to hesitate for a long time I decided to get that bag. Then I went and paid and stuff. She said thank you. I told her no problem.


Then she was like, "Haha no la I'm just kidding."


I looked at her and I went, "But I'm serious."


She was like screeching and saying she doesn't want the bag wtf and like I should buy such expensive gifts for her this la that la.


Haha I swear she's like shocked. Seriously shocked. But anyway, surprise plan worked! Hoho.

Today I went out with TheBoyfriend for a movie - Step Up 2 : The Streets.


And boy was the movie good. It was really, really awesome. I really wanted to get up and dance as well. This time the movie is more, erm, hiphop freestyle and a lot more interesting. The previous one was nice. Channing Tatum made a short appearance and he's still as yummy! Heee.

We went for dinner at Paddington's and we were so stuffed after that. Even TheBoyfriend was saying he's full. And when he said he's full, it means the food is really filling cuz trust me he can eat. Really eat. But I wasn't too bad myself haha. I ate a lot, I think. Lol.


I had a really good weekend this week minus the slight hiccup last night. It's really good to be able to just relax and not think too much. And I still have Prob&Stats to do. Ah wells, I'll just go to bed and do it tomorrow or something.

TheBoyfriend and I spent yesterday by sitting in front of my laptop F5-ing Malaysiakini. We also left the TV on and were listening to the 'sad' news that BN lost.


I think this election ought to teach them a lesson not to be too complacent. This should teach them that the nation WILL turn their backs on you if you are doing shitty jobs and keep imposing unreasonable things on us.


And oh. Can someone enlighten me what happened to the RM2.4mil that we used to purchase the indelible inks?


So yeah. New beginning for Malaysia. Let's hope for the better.

Anyway I've got so many mosquito bites on my legs that it's so ugly. I got them all in one night! Ugh. No skirt for this week in uni I suppose. TheBoyfriend was applying cream and all for me. *Happy sigh* Then I was having stomach discomfort. He took pills for me and all. *Happy sigh* So nice to be taken care of.


I was complaining yesterday that sometimes it feels like a long distance relationship because I only see him once a week, at most twice. And he was like, "LDR is like see once in a few months." Then I think I said something along the line that ours is a quarter long distance relationship. -_-

I was asking if he thinks we'll be fine if I leave for UK next year. I might leave, I'm not too sure but there are plans to go over. Depends on daddy. Well, I still have a younger brother.


I was telling him like I know there are LDR that worked but really very few. He's positive and so I shall stay that way too. (: But I'm not too sure if I'm really going.





He's shrunk ever since he started working. Better go to the gym more often baby. You have until June to buff up. Haha.


And oh, that's the tie clip that I chose. I was so picky when I was choosing it's not funny. Then I'll be going to KC like, "Haih dunno he like or not leh. Later say not nice howwwww."

The past two weeks have been real crazy for me. So much work, lab and coursework and all. The coursework was the killer one. Oh gosh I really felt like dying. The amount of stress that I felt for being unable to solve it is really really unbearable.


And oh I've gotten my results for last semester. First class! *Victory dance* And oh how I complained so much to TheBoyfriend that I won't do well solely because I really didn't know a thing in class but thank goodness I bucked up during the break.


Then I auditioned for SIFE Fashion Show and got selected as one of the models.

Then I auditioned for Ms Nottingham as well due to peer pressure. No seriously. PEER PRESSURE. And I got into the semifinals which is on Wednesday and I'm supposed to come up with a talent show. Gosh what have I signed up for I feel like dying now. And I'm still pretty undecided on what to do ugh.


Oh wells we'll just see how it goes.


I've got so much to do I really think this semester is horrible. 6 papers. Oh gosh. And only like 1-2 weeks study break I'm so screwed someone please kill me. I have Engineering Management and Accounting and this has got to be the worst subject ever. "How do you motivate people?"


Chemical and Phase Equilibria. My dear Russian-Borat. Oh gosh I can never, I tell you, NEVER understand what the heck he is teaching. All I hear is fugacity fugacity (Eh wtf fugacity is not in the dictionary cuz they underline that word) and also simply put simply put. Argh!


I think I'm gonna die this semester...

BN's campaigning like mad for the upcoming elections. And I don't need to state the obvious why are they working so hard this time around. With the 'Bersih' and the 'Hindraf' issue still fresh on everyone's mind, I bet most of the people are mad at the government.


This is just my two cents worth on Malaysian politics. Let me begin by saying that I'm not actually a very political kind of person if you get what I mean. But I am in fact, a little disappointed that I didn't register to vote. I'm 21 and it's time for me to exercise my rights as a citizen.


BN is most likely not going to get votes from the Indians because of the Hindraf issue. With the tear gas, the beatings and violence and all, tell me who will really believe in the government? They had to resort to violence. It doesn't make them any more different from the thugs at the streets. "You don't listen, fine! I'll beat you up!"


The Bersih rally. They weren't even planning to like, create havoc or anything. They just wanna hand the memorandum come on. From my point of view, it was a peaceful thing but the police made it big by saying these people didn't want to disperse and hence they had to resort to tear gas. They weren't turning the place upside down, so why the violence?


Then the infamous interview on Al Jazeera. Omg I don't even want to talk about that. "In.. In.. In Malaysia we are democracy. We.. We.. We.. have erection for the people.. Why why why you talk like that hah. You saying we no good?"


I don't remember the whole conversation but I remember it's roughly like that and his command of English, it seriously made me feel ashamed as a Malaysian. How can you even have a minister whose command of English is probably that of a primary school student to minister us?


And then it was circulating all over the internet. All these emails with pictures and statements and asking us to vote wisely.





Seriously. Lie down and enjoy rape? Sex may be good but wtf how can you enjoy being raped???





And we're supposed to be proud that Malaysia is a multiracial country and we live in harmony and peace. Right. How am I ever gonna tell people that I love my country cuz all races look out for one another?


And here we have our dear minister saying, "If you don't like it, you get out of Malaysia!"


Yes I know Malaysia is an Islamic country but sometimes I think it isn't fair for them to implement THEIR rules on us. We should be celebrating how diversified we are and yet we still live in peace.


Whatever happened to those Pendidikan Moral that we used to get in primary and secondary school?

No seriously. I understand the fact that this IS an Islamic country and it gives you all the right to build mosques and suraus everywhere. But I don't think it's fair to the other religions who have to see their sanctuary being tore down.





I'm not sure if any of you have seen video clips of our Pak Lah falling asleep during meetings and all. But just go to Youtube, there are plenty there. One must be wondering what does he do to manage the country then.


And then the money he spent. Seriously. And they say Malaysia will go bankrupt. -_- Obviously we will, if money is being spent like that. A private jet that's RM175mil and and RM60mil house. Wouldn't it be better to fund the poor?





I seriously am speechless by their behaviour. I think if they didn't win big in this election, they really should reflect on their past actions and see why have the nation turned their backs on them.

This proves that sometimes you guys don't really have to go to the ends of the world to please your girl. Small thoughtful gestures may just do the trick. But of course you guys can't just rely on small gestures okay cuz it'll get boring and meaningless. Hehe.

Have to blog about this before I forget what happened last night. Lol.


The rest of my family left for Sg Siput for this Ching Ming thing and I stayed behind cuz I wanted to do my work but then until this very minute I have yet to touch even 25% of my work. TheBoyfriend offered to stay over and keep me company cuz my mum was saying it's dangerous for me to stay alone.


Last night we went for dinner at some restaurant in Alam Damai which took us quite some time to get there. We got lost -_- No sense of direction I tell you haha.


Then after dinner we proceeded to TheBoyfriend's friend's (Pui Leng) place for a farewell party for her boyfriend (Yi Kang) who is also Ee Ling's (Clarins colleague) cousin! Haha. Small world.


Alcohol was abundant I had my fair share but not much cuz TheBoyfriend's drinking like a horse so being the sensible girlfriend *Ehem ehem* I have to control my drinking so that if anything happens I can drive us back.


We were karaoke-ing and drinking a lot and then things got out of control. Viratha (This guy who was from SAB as well. Aiya everyone was from SAB) got pretty drunk but he kept saying he's sober and he went around hugging everyone and kept saying how they must get Yi Kang drunk. Then the next thing I know he stripped off his own top! Omg culture shock!


Then he went around taking off other people's clothes! -_- Then I told TheBoyfriend, safest is to stay with me I think he won't disturb him if he's with me. TheBoyfriend was the last one who still had his top on and that bugger really came and wanted to take TheBoyfriend's shirt off. Then TheBoyfriend went, "I'll do it myself. I'll do it myself." Then Viratha took TheBoyfriend's shirt and threw it in the toilet.

Then they had to play with the cake as well. And Viratha kept telling me he's not drunk and he kept giving examples to prove he's not drunk, to which I replied, "Con-the-firm you're drunk."


And then later, my name became Imelda. -_- Where the heck did that come from????? Cuz TheBoyfriend and I went outside and took a breather and sat on the swing and played with Pui Leng's dogs. I really like the dog Kopi eventhough he's depressed and all but she's a really good dog and she licked my face haha. Then Viratha came while both of us were on the swing and suddenly called me Imelda. -_______________________________-


Last night was crazy. Seriously. I think it's all because of alcohol cuz it wasn't like that in the beginning when there was no alcohol. See what alcohol can do to people? Tsk tsk.


Was super exhausted but then I got up pretty early this morning considering the fact that we slept at about 3 am. I couldn't sleep longer I don't know why.


My daddy just called and he's still in Tanjung Malim cuz he said there's heavy traffic and they're traveling at 40-50 kmph. He said it's raining pretty heavily there and there are roadworks going on.


Tsk. Still home alone. TheBoyfriend la, left in the afternoon. Tsk.

On the 18th of March 2008, my university held the finals for Talent Quest 2008 of my university. It was one long day cuz I had class in the morning then I had to proceed for my dance practice for the opening performance of this year's annual dinner. Then almost immediately after the dance practice I had to go for the fashion show practice which I swear was a waste of time. Then I had to go to the Great Hall for the finals to support my friends.


I sort of forgot that I had my camera with me until it was 'Flip A Coin & Call It Heads' turn to perform. Weng Hoe was like the keyboardist/guitarist/whatever-that-remains-ist for that band. Fellow Mr Notts semifinalist Kwo Kuang was the vocalist and guitarist as well.

They got pretty good comments from the judges. The judges were sorta saying other bands should be very afraid of this band. Anyway I really like their self-composed music. So Hawaii-ish.

Maybe just a little. But not as tall/buff/good-looking/handsome/sexy/all-the-good-qualities as TheBoyfriend. Then Wai Ken was like arguing who is better looking and all and stuff like that. Omg Wai Ken why are you so gay?????

Damn crazy alright. I wouldn't wake up just to play with my classical guitar. I'd rather sleep more. Ever heard of beauty sleep? Haha but it doesn't work cuz I still look like (Insert whatever bad qualities here).

Nowadays my vain-ness has reduced cuz I no longer put makeup to uni. I just slap on some sunblock and then just do my eyebrows a bit cuz I have some bald patches due to over-plucking sigh I get tweezer-happy sometimes.


TheBoyfriend said it's because now that I have him that's why I don't feel like beautifying myself anymore. -_-

I tell you facial care can be such a pain in the ass sometimes. I used to buy the expensive facial products and it's so hard to find a suitable one that works well for my pimple-prone skin and oily and dry skin. What a dilemma -_-


Then I got this Loreal White Perfect Day Moisturizer sample and I used it for a week and my skin condition improved! Then I got the Night Cream and then wait for another week and my complexion improved! So I got the facial wash as well. And these are all super cheap. I think you can buy this set less than or around RM100.


I used to pay around RM100 for one single product like moisturizer ok. I used to think like, this is so cheap it probably wouldn't really work. But now I guess I'm more like, as long as it works I don't care if it's cheap.


And I got a lot fairer and my skin glows from this Loreal product! (By the way I'm not paid for this advertorial) I just wanna share good stuff (:

Then he came and told me that. Like he just casually asked me, "Eh who do you think I look like after cutting my hair?" I was expecting him to say like some superstar's name or something so I said no cuz I really couldn't see any resemblance. Then he went, "Your boyfriend."


To which I went, "HUH?????????? No!!!!! My boyfriend's so much better!!!"


And Weng Hoe emo-ed. Rofl. But what the heck Wai Ken was like, "Eh that guitarist look very familiar.. Eh!!! Like Eelaine's boyfriend!!!"

The results were announced around 15 mins after voting. The whole show was very, very nice but the results were very stupid and bullshit-ting.


For the bands category, this band from Pharmacy and Engineering won. They were pretty decent but I was seriously thinking either 'Flip A Coin & Call It Heads' or '5 am' will win cuz they were quite good.


For the solo category, the worst singer won! What. The. Fuck?


Before that let me tell you how the voting system works. Everyone is given one vote but you can buy extra votes for 50 cents each.


The winner for the solo category, apparently won by a ratio of 6:2:1 (winner:1st runner up:2nd runner up)


The funny thing is, his box (For the votes) is not even full! The 1st runner up's box, according to Wai Ken was full to the opening! So tell me how can this guy win? And I heard he apparently bought 450 votes for himself. I don't know how true it is but shit it sucks.


When they announced the result for the solo category, everyone went "WHATTTTTTT????" and then all of them got up and left the hall immediately. It was so funny cuz the winner was like, 'shocked' that he won and no one layan-ed him and just booed him and left.


We proceeded to have supper with Hafriz, Lizzie, Wai Ken, Mei Syen, Jieqiang and Bernard who came later. I almost died by then and I told the guy at the mamak to be quick cuz I'm super hungry lol.

I was supposed to help out with the table tennis competition yesterday. Refereeing and all. But then Quek saw me and forced me to play volleyball for ChemEng. He made me drove back and change into my sports attire and then play.


The last time I've ever played volleyball was in secondary school. My skills were rusty judging by the way I played yesterday.


It was a good game nevertheless. My digging is still quite good. Not digging my nose ok. Digging the ball. Digging the ball is the part where you put your two arms together to hit the ball.


I was assigned setter position. Setter is where you use 3 or 4 fingers to 'push' the ball upwards for the spiker. I guess I don't need to explain what a spiker is cuz everyone knows what a spiker is. I admit I can't set as good anymore but it was more of a fluctuating performance. Sometimes I get it sometimes I don't.


Serving was a bitch cuz out of 5, I missed maybe 2-3 which isn't good at all. Wanted to do the 'tennis serve' but my 'tennis serving' performance fluctuates more than my mood. Lol. But really, I think we played very well considering the fact that we're playing against MechEng who had one national player, one district player, a couple of school players I think.


The national player wanted to spike at one point. Then he saw me standing there cuz I wanted to block. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I'm the only girl in ChemEng team. And MechEng are all guys. So I wanted to block, then this guy saw me and totally fumbled and couldn't spike. Lol. I guess he was shocked to suddenly see a tiny girl standing there lol.


But anyway that trick didn't work anymore after that cuz they just aimed somewhere else where I'm not standing. Ugh wtf.


And I had the most irritating player in my team. -_- He's okay but he's just everywhere in the court! He gets into your space and leaves his space empty wtf does he know how to play, like, a real game? You don't just run everywhere and bump into other people! Everytime I want to set the ball for the spiker he will surely get in front of me and I can't do what I'm supposed to do. Even the team captain got frustrated after a while cuz they we couldn't play tactic and he said I don't have to play permanent setter.


Daniel bruised his hands and it swelled pretty badly. Mine's bruised as well but my hands don't feel painful at all haha Daniel take that! We have certain tactics to dig. Not just randomly hit the ball hoho. But good game Daniel (:


Sigh I have so much work this week. Yes. AGAIN. Sigh I think third year's gonna be a bitch.

Omg I swear drying lab report is like so boring! I have a total of 10 graphs in my lab report I think. You see! I've even lost count. -_-


Then after this I have to do my Engineering Management & Accounting coursework which is so bloody boring. I also think that some people should really take this module, especially the management part hoho.


This week is again a hectic week. Two courseworks due and then I have to attend dance practice and then I might have Particle Mechanics replacement for 4 hours this Friday. Ah.. There goes my free Friday. But I hope it's not this week though cuz I didn't bring enough clothes. I mean, clothes to wear to uni. Haha.


My black peep-toes slingback just gave me a blister on my right foot ouch! And it seems bigger than the initial one that I've got. T_T

I love those curls that the people from APT gave me. But then again I think I'm too chicken to curl my hair cuz you see, I have very petite body and a big head. So if I have curls, I'll look like a human size lollipop, which isn't pretty if you ask me.


And curls add years to a person. A lot of comments I got was that I look more mature and stuff. Dilemma dilemma cuz I'm so tired of having long hair but it took me so long for my hair to grow to its current length I'm not gonna chop my hair. Sighs.


Anyway I'm not gonna blog about SIFE Fresh Labels Fashion Show just yet. Wait till I have the mood to really sit down and spill the details. The juicy details may I add. Or maybe drama, bitchy bitchy drama. I know everyone likes gossips and dramas haha.


Everyone's nosing into everyone else's dramas and gossips and whatnots. But ah well, we're all the same right? You're lying if you say you aren't haha!


I shouldn't waste anymore time. I should really start doing my Management coursework. Pffft.

After deciding that I'm gonna sing 'Umbrella' accompanied by the guitar, I found out that Jeannie's doing that same song too. Then no choice, had to come up with another performance. Then I decided to dance oh my God I swear it was horrible. Managed to dance maybe like 4-5 times and then I just went ahead and performed it.

Then I went for dinner with Jeannie, Isaac, Weng Hoe and some more people whom I don't know. By that time my gastric was already killing me and I felt super awful. It was like there's this knife in my stomach or something.


I wanted to leave early cuz I wasn't ready at all - I have yet to change, put on make up, do my hair and all the vain stuff you can think of. But they were telling me I didn't have to go so early this la that la.


So in the end, I didn't have time to do my make up at all and I looked awfully pale and ugly in the pictures. I just slapped on some powder and then was INSTRUCTEDDEMANDED to go out of the changing room. So fine.. Just skip everything.


And I tell you it was so 'suey' cuz I'm like the last contestant. I had to see each and everyone of them do their thing and then I'll be like, "Shit I'm so screwed." or maybe "Shit can I pull out like now????"



That's me being questioned.


Everyone was saying how 'pageant-ish' this contest is cuz they ask those pageant-questions if you get what I mean. World peace la this la that la you get the gist.


My question was, "Who is the most influential person in the world?"


And before my turn I went around joking that if I ever get a question like that I'll say Abdullah Badawi cuz he's the reason BN lost 2/3 majority haha I'm so funny -_- (TheBoyfriend said I should also say he's the reason BN won by landslide victory.)


But anyway when it was my turn, you have no idea how shocked I was to see that question. Maybe God is helping me -_- Anyway I answered my parents and almost teared up oh shit why am I such a crybaby.

Went out with TheBestFriendShinYie yesterday. We had a role reversal yesterday. Normally she drives us out but this time I drove cuz we wanted to celebrate her birthday. So we had lunch and then walked around and the I went to Guess and pretended like I'm looking for this bag.


Finally saw the bag but sadly they didn't have the colour that I wanted. Then I asked her is the bag pretty and all she said yes. Then I asked would she use this kind of colour she said yes. Then after pretending to hesitate for a long time I decided to get that bag. Then I went and paid and stuff. She said thank you. I told her no problem.


Then she was like, "Haha no la I'm just kidding."


I looked at her and I went, "But I'm serious."


She was like screeching and saying she doesn't want the bag wtf and like I should buy such expensive gifts for her this la that la.


Haha I swear she's like shocked. Seriously shocked. But anyway, surprise plan worked! Hoho.

Today I went out with TheBoyfriend for a movie - Step Up 2 : The Streets.


And boy was the movie good. It was really, really awesome. I really wanted to get up and dance as well. This time the movie is more, erm, hiphop freestyle and a lot more interesting. The previous one was nice. Channing Tatum made a short appearance and he's still as yummy! Heee.

We went for dinner at Paddington's and we were so stuffed after that. Even TheBoyfriend was saying he's full. And when he said he's full, it means the food is really filling cuz trust me he can eat. Really eat. But I wasn't too bad myself haha. I ate a lot, I think. Lol.


I had a really good weekend this week minus the slight hiccup last night. It's really good to be able to just relax and not think too much. And I still have Prob&Stats to do. Ah wells, I'll just go to bed and do it tomorrow or something.

TheBoyfriend and I spent yesterday by sitting in front of my laptop F5-ing Malaysiakini. We also left the TV on and were listening to the 'sad' news that BN lost.


I think this election ought to teach them a lesson not to be too complacent. This should teach them that the nation WILL turn their backs on you if you are doing shitty jobs and keep imposing unreasonable things on us.


And oh. Can someone enlighten me what happened to the RM2.4mil that we used to purchase the indelible inks?

Anyway I've got so many mosquito bites on my legs that it's so ugly. I got them all in one night! Ugh. No skirt for this week in uni I suppose. TheBoyfriend was applying cream and all for me. *Happy sigh* Then I was having stomach discomfort. He took pills for me and all. *Happy sigh* So nice to be taken care of.


I was complaining yesterday that sometimes it feels like a long distance relationship because I only see him once a week, at most twice. And he was like, "LDR is like see once in a few months." Then I think I said something along the line that ours is a quarter long distance relationship. -_-

I was asking if he thinks we'll be fine if I leave for UK next year. I might leave, I'm not too sure but there are plans to go over. Depends on daddy. Well, I still have a younger brother.


I was telling him like I know there are LDR that worked but really very few. He's positive and so I shall stay that way too. (: But I'm not too sure if I'm really going.





He's shrunk ever since he started working. Better go to the gym more often baby. You have until June to buff up. Haha.

The past two weeks have been real crazy for me. So much work, lab and coursework and all. The coursework was the killer one. Oh gosh I really felt like dying. The amount of stress that I felt for being unable to solve it is really really unbearable.


And oh I've gotten my results for last semester. First class! *Victory dance* And oh how I complained so much to TheBoyfriend that I won't do well solely because I really didn't know a thing in class but thank goodness I bucked up during the break.


Then I auditioned for SIFE Fashion Show and got selected as one of the models.

Oh wells we'll just see how it goes.


I've got so much to do I really think this semester is horrible. 6 papers. Oh gosh. And only like 1-2 weeks study break I'm so screwed someone please kill me. I have Engineering Management and Accounting and this has got to be the worst subject ever. "How do you motivate people?"


Chemical and Phase Equilibria. My dear Russian-Borat. Oh gosh I can never, I tell you, NEVER understand what the heck he is teaching. All I hear is fugacity fugacity (Eh wtf fugacity is not in the dictionary cuz they underline that word) and also simply put simply put. Argh!

BN's campaigning like mad for the upcoming elections. And I don't need to state the obvious why are they working so hard this time around. With the 'Bersih' and the 'Hindraf' issue still fresh on everyone's mind, I bet most of the people are mad at the government.


This is just my two cents worth on Malaysian politics. Let me begin by saying that I'm not actually a very political kind of person if you get what I mean. But I am in fact, a little disappointed that I didn't register to vote. I'm 21 and it's time for me to exercise my rights as a citizen.


BN is most likely not going to get votes from the Indians because of the Hindraf issue. With the tear gas, the beatings and violence and all, tell me who will really believe in the government? They had to resort to violence. It doesn't make them any more different from the thugs at the streets. "You don't listen, fine! I'll beat you up!"


The Bersih rally. They weren't even planning to like, create havoc or anything. They just wanna hand the memorandum come on. From my point of view, it was a peaceful thing but the police made it big by saying these people didn't want to disperse and hence they had to resort to tear gas. They weren't turning the place upside down, so why the violence?


Then the infamous interview on Al Jazeera. Omg I don't even want to talk about that. "In.. In.. In Malaysia we are democracy. We.. We.. We.. have erection for the people.. Why why why you talk like that hah. You saying we no good?"


I don't remember the whole conversation but I remember it's roughly like that and his command of English, it seriously made me feel ashamed as a Malaysian. How can you even have a minister whose command of English is probably that of a primary school student to minister us?


And then it was circulating all over the internet. All these emails with pictures and statements and asking us to vote wisely.





Seriously. Lie down and enjoy rape? Sex may be good but wtf how can you enjoy being raped???





And we're supposed to be proud that Malaysia is a multiracial country and we live in harmony and peace. Right. How am I ever gonna tell people that I love my country cuz all races look out for one another?


And here we have our dear minister saying, "If you don't like it, you get out of Malaysia!"


Yes I know Malaysia is an Islamic country but sometimes I think it isn't fair for them to implement THEIR rules on us. We should be celebrating how diversified we are and yet we still live in peace.


Whatever happened to those Pendidikan Moral that we used to get in primary and secondary school?





Najib Najib.. Soak the keris with Malaysian Chinese blood ay? Tell me who is the one who is heating things up now. I know you probably want to defend the Malays but I'm pretty sure there are other things to say other than soaking the keris.


You being the Deputy Prime Minister does not give you the key to saying such things.





Women can still be pretty at 50. It's a different kind of pretty. Like elegant and all? Gosh.


And calling us bloggers monkeys? Erm hello??????? I really think it's unfair. Sometimes we just wanna blog about how we really feel about things. Then there's supposed to be this thing called 'Freedom of Speech'. Apparently there isn't such a thing. Cuz bloggers are supposed to watch their mouth and all. Maybe we should just blog about how we get up at 7 in the morning, then brush our teeth and then go to the toilet etc etc. -_-


And puh-leeze! What is an unlawful temple? Can someone enlighten me please?





I think it's really sad that the government tore down the other temples and churches. And then they use violence against those who protest.


What wrong have they done here? They have done nothing but show love for their religion. For their holy place. They are protecting what they believe in. Are they even wrong for that? Is that so wrong that you have to use violence against these people?





No seriously. I understand the fact that this IS an Islamic country and it gives you all the right to build mosques and suraus everywhere. But I don't think it's fair to the other religions who have to see their sanctuary being tore down.





I'm not sure if any of you have seen video clips of our Pak Lah falling asleep during meetings and all. But just go to Youtube, there are plenty there. One must be wondering what does he do to manage the country then.


And then the money he spent. Seriously. And they say Malaysia will go bankrupt. -_- Obviously we will, if money is being spent like that. A private jet that's RM175mil and and RM60mil house. Wouldn't it be better to fund the poor?





I seriously am speechless by their behaviour. I think if they didn't win big in this election, they really should reflect on their past actions and see why have the nation turned their backs on them.

It's probably a little too ambitious but then what he said has some truth to it. Maybe a time for a government change? I don't know. But then again, it's always easier said than done, no?


Election oh election. Come 8th of March, we'll see the future of Malaysia.


(I've never learned so much about politics in my life compared to these few days.)
