Hahaha looks like I've abandoned the blog again -- just when I said I'd try to blog more often d:

I actually told myself to do the 365 thing. You know, a picture a day that kind of stuff, just to keep this blog alive. But I know I will not be able to do it, so heck care. Haha.

Work has been interesting so far. Life is even more interesting haha. Been going to the gym on a regular basis now and it has worked wonders on my health! Not too sure about the physical side of things but I'm feeling more refreshed nowadays. I realized that I also am addicted to going to the gym.

If I miss gym on the day that I planned on going (for whatever reasons), I feel really, really miserable. It is also really strange how I will feel more refreshed after going to gym after work. Usually after work I'll be like, sort of half-dead but if I go to the gym, I'll be like an energizer bunny after.

Recently people have been asking me how do I keep myself looking healthy and how do I keep my skin looking good. I can't exactly tell them what is the 'secret' here because in all honesty, there is no secret! But perhaps I'll just share with you what do I do on a daily basis:

One, I drink plenty of water. You need a lot of water especially if you're working in an air-conditioned environment. The air is so dry, that your skin will suffer as well. So, just keep yourself hydrated. I usually try to drink a glass of water every hour. Yep you'll definitely go to the toilet many times but it's good to flush out those toxins. (:

Two, I do not apply makeup on a daily basis. I only apply makeup when I go out and that also depends on where I go. If you work for at least 8 hours, it's best not to put on any foundation at all. Well, unless your job requires you to put on makeup then you don't exactly have a choice. you'll probably say you look bad without any foundation etc but then again, the more makeup you load on your face, the worse it gets. I don't know about others but if I've had makeup on for 8 hours, I will have this feeling that my skin cannot breath. -_- If you cannot survive without a single trace of foundation, I will suggest using compact powder but, don't use the sponge and sponge everything onto your face. Use a brush (the whatever brush I don't know the terminology but as long as it is HUGE then it'll work) and just get a bit of the foundation on, then just lightly dust it over your face.

Three, exfoliate. I do it once a week. Some people suggest doing it twice but doing it too often will just dry your skin up. At least that was what happened to me. Exfoliate your face in circular motion and don't rub too hard!

Four, exercise! This, my friends, has worked wonders for me haha. I do notice that I have better complexion now. It looks more refreshed. I especially like how I look after gym! Rosy cheeks and all woohoo.

I guess these are my four important things to good skin. If you want to ask me about food, don't bother haha. That is because I will just eat whatever that's in my way. Fried oily stuff etc lol. But but but, smoking is a no-no. Drinking, yes, provided you flush yourself with a lot of water after. I have friends who smoke and those who don't, those who smoke, tend to have drier and older looking complexion. As for drinking, I realized it makes my skin really dry the next day so I try to drink a lot of water almost immediately after some booze. But then again, doesn't mean that drinking is good haha. Do it in moderation (:

Aiya whatever you do, it has to be in moderation anyway. Too much of something isn't good for you.
