shortly after i started working, i went on a trip to malacca and port dickson with theboyfriend and his friends. it was just a short trip. we stayed in malacca on the first night and port dickson on the second.
don't really recall the name of the malacca hotel but we stayed at the legend international water homes in pd.

#1 - weng keet and ivyin.
#2 - in malacca hotel.
we checked in and relaxed a little and then head out to jonker street for some food. and, chicken rice ball is a must!
#3 - we totally cleaned everything up.
after fulfilling our very basic need, we decided to walk it off and proceeded to the church of st. paul. i think, you really learn how to appreciate things like this as you grow older. the beauty of the ruins and whatnots.
#4 - ruins of church of st. paul.
#5 - it is a popular place for wedding photography as of late.
many couples have chosen the outdoor photography instead of the studio photography for their wedding pictures. malacca is one of the top picks for outdoor photography, and they do it mostly at the historical sites.
#6 - the boys l-r: mun fai, wai loon, and theboyfriend.
#7 - theboyfriend and myself.
oh i also think this was when he broke his fake rayban aviators nyehehe.
#8 - another shot of the ruins of st. paul's church, in an artistic way :p
#9 - lookie here l-r: theboyfriend, wai loon, pui leng, and mun fai.
#10 - on the inside of the ruins.
#11 - a hot sunny day calls for a refreshing lime ice cream :D
#12 - the lone flower.
#13 - the girls l-r: ivyin, ee pei, yours truly, pui leng, and joynise.
#14 - the boys l-r: theboyfriend, wai loon, chaw yuen, and mun fai.
#15 - wai loon and his 'magician' pose. well, that's what he said.
we just visited the stadthuys and called it a day. went back to freshen up and out we go again.
#16 - satay celup is a must!
the queue for the satay celup was so long, it's amazing how people are willing to wait.
#17 - the food!
#18 - more food.
#19 - guess who is the glutton :D
i probably psyched myself too much when we were queuing up -- telling myself the food has to be super awesome for the queue to be that long. and when we started eating, i was disappointed. i didn't find it amazing but it's definitely something different.
probably just not my cup of tea. but i will probably say you haven't been to malacca until you've tried the chicken rice ball and satay celup. (:
#20 - brunch the next day.
#21 - you need lots of rice :D
after brunch, we headed for pd and this is what greets us!!
#22 - the pool. ain't very big but big enough for everyone to jump in and chill.
the photos were taken before the guys ruined everything haha.
#23 - two queen-sized beds in one room. there's another queen-sized bed in the other room that has a connecting door.
#24 - the pool is just right next to the bed. so, you probably don't need to shower in the morning hehe. just roll over into the pool lol.
#25 - in the lobby.
#26 - girls gotta do what a girls gotta do -- camwhore!
#27 - posing maut.
#28 - pui leng and yours truly.
pui leng is one of the sweetest girl you can ever meet in your life. my life is such a blessing for having her around.
#29 - model wannabe :D
#30 - control macho.
the 'tables' were arranged that way for us to play card and drinking games hehe.
this summarizes my malacca/pd trip. definitely hoping for more trips in the future.
